Once your account is set up and you are able to log in to ApexScouty, open the Marketplace Integrations page and follow the steps in the guided wizard. You will be redirected to Seller Central to authorize ApexScouty through Amazon's Selling Partner API authorization flow, and you can revoke that authorization at any time.

All Amazon data used by ApexScouty is retrieved through the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API), under the authorization you grant from Seller Central. We do not collect data from Amazon's public-facing websites and we do not use third-party services that vend Amazon data. Data is processed only to produce the analysis you request, in line with Amazon's Acceptable Use Policy and Data Protection Policy.

No. ApexScouty does not access Brand Analytics, search term reports, or any other restricted data set, and it does not store personally identifiable buyer or seller information. Our analysis is based on the product, pricing, fee and offer data returned by the SP-API endpoints your authorization covers.

ApexScouty implements strict rate limiting, proper authentication, and secure data handling practices to ensure full compliance with Amazon's API requirements. We regularly update our systems to maintain compatibility with Amazon's latest API specifications and security standards.

ApexScouty uses only the SP-API endpoints required for product analysis: catalog and product details, competitive pricing and offers, fee estimates, and sales rank. We do not collect or store personal customer data, seller account credentials, or restricted Amazon data sets. Any sales and pricing history shown in the platform is built from the SP-API data we have retrieved for your own account over time — no third-party data provider is involved. All access takes place under the authorization you grant and can be revoked at any time.
